The 2008 China High Level Forum on IP Protection and 2008 China Forum on Criminal IP Protection were jointly held in Shanghai recently, and as one of the host entities of the Forum, the Supreme Court has disclosed some information about the judicial interpretation on well-known trademark recognition through judicial system, and the said judicial interpretation is under drafting. Besides the well-known trademark recognition, the Supreme Court has also published other judicial interpretation in judging the disputes relating the registered trademark, trade name and prior rights.

On the forum, the judicial interpretation about the trade secret crime is also put under the agenda, which will further define the threshold standard for the crime of violating the trade secret in order to promise a safer and fairer commercial competition environment.
